Windrock Park, Ride Royal Blue and Brimstone are some of the ATV parks In Tennessee serving the North Cumberland OHV Riding Area.

This is a government managed area, but several privately owned ATV Resorts/Campgrounds are located on these trails and have direct access to these trails. Primitive camping is allowed throughout the entire area. This is a public use area, but fees are required for riding. The OHV program is funded by federal grants and use permits to promote fun safe off roading while also adressing environmental concerns and conserving wildlife habitiat. This is a huge OHV riding area, so it’s no surprise that it has some of the best ATV parks in Tennessee. North Cumberland includes these two areas along with the New River tract into this multi-use area.

The North Cumberland WMA (Wildlife Management Area) is comprised of two area previously referred to as Royal Blue WMA and Sundquist WMA. Trails are well marked, so they’re easy to navigate. There are also single track trails available for motorcycle riders which are unrated but considered advanced and should only be ridden by experienced riders.

The majority of the trails are rated easy with only 3 of the multi-use trails rated ‘most difficult’. Most of the trails are multi-use and open to both motorized and non motorized activities, so users need to be courteous and respectful of other trail users especially the horseback riders. Jeeps, 4×4 and trucks are not allowed on these trails. It’s open to non-motorized users including hikers, horseback riders and mountain bikers as well as motorized users including ATVs, UTV, SxS and dirt bikes. Over 60 miles of multi-use trails on 8,600 acres in the mountains.
